Reuters/Guillermo GranjaUS oil company Chevron has been ordered to pay 6.4 billion euros to Amazonian communities in Ecuador in compensation for severe pollution plus 670 million euros in reparations. It is the largest ever fine imposed on an oil company for environmental damage.
